Carrier President's Award Winner - 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024
The President's Award, started in 2007, is Carrier's highest honor for its dealers. This annual award is designed to encourage self-analysis and reward individuals who have excelled in customer relations. President's Award recipients are businesses that far exceed high expectations, not only as a Carrier dealer but also as one of our Carrier Factory Authorized Dealers—who are held to an even more exacting set of standards. A President's Award winner is a company that Carrier Corporation recognizes and holds up to other dealers as an example of true excellence. It is an enterprise whose leadership, integrity and performance we hope all dealers will aspire to emulate.
We are the proud recipient of the Carrier President's award for the last 6 years.
North American Technician Excellence (NATE)
North American Technician Excellence (NATE) is an independent, third-party organization that develops and promotes excellence in the installation and service of heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration equipment by recognizing high-quality industry technicians through voluntary testing and certification. Our technicians have passed the rigorous testing necessary to qualify as NATE Certified Technicians.
National Comfort Institute (NCI)
National Comfort Institute is one of the country's top training and certification organizations. NCI started in 1992 as National Balancing Institute, a training organization aimed at helping heating and air conditioning contractors provide even comfort throughout homes and businesses using a technique called Air Balancing. This technique, previously only available for large commercial and industrial facilities was refined to work in smaller buildings and homes.
As NCI evolved, the organization widened its scope to include a total system approach to design, installation and service of heating and air conditioning systems. We call this approach, "Performance-Based Contracting." These contractors are different from the average service company because they do more than simply fix or replace equipment. They also focus on maximizing the comfort, safety and energy efficiency of the systems they sell and service.
F.I.R.E. Certified Inspector
The F.I.R.E. Certified Inspector Program is the first and only inspection certification within the hearth industry. This certification was developed over ten years ago and has proven to be the gold standard of this industry. This professional education provides detailed instruction on the inspection and investigation of fireplaces, chimneys, vented appliances, and vent free products. This professional program includes but is not limited to the applicable building codes, manufacturer's specifications, product identification, listing requirements, case study, historical performance, product design and application, inspection methodology, report writing, and fire technology. This Program also includes hands-on training in actual inspection techniques, photography and basic investigation techniques. Students are required to demonstrate these skills in a lab setting by recognizing multiple defects and reporting them.
Master Hearth Professional
One of the best ways to find competent professionals is to check their credentials. The National Fireplace Institute®, an independent, non-profit certification agency, conducts nationwide testing of hearth systems planners and technicians. Only those who pass a rigorous examination covering important topics like safety and placement, venting requirements, and installation guidelines receive NFI Professional Certification.
NFI Certified
For 25 years, the independent non-profit Hearth, Patio and Barbecue Education Foundation (HPBEF) has offered certifications for professionals in the hearth industry. In 2001, the HPBEF formed the National Fireplace Institute® as the national certification agency for the industry. A comprehensive review process was conducted with the help of industry installers, technical experts, and hearth business owners to determine what industry professionals need to know.As a result of the formal review process, based on national standards for certification agencies, the HPBEF revised and improved both manuals and exams for gas, woodburning, and pellet certifications. The comprehensive certifications are designed to gain recognition by building officials, code officials, and the general public.
